Customers may currently experience issues with failing DNS lookups (resulting in a SERVFAIL error) when querying specific domains. This issue affects VPS instances utilizing the default Tilaa DNS servers.
Cause & Resolution: Earlier this afternoon, we implemented an update to tighten our firewalls. Unfortunately, this resulted in an unintended side effect affecting DNS traffic. Our team has identified the root cause and is currently rolling out a patch to restore the necessary firewall rule.
Expected Time of Resolution: We expect the patch to be fully deployed and DNS resolution to return to normal within approximately 10 minutes. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We will update this page as soon as the deployment is complete and the systems are stable.
